Paleochora, with 2.500
inhabitants, is located southwest of Crete, 79km
from Chania city. It is very popular for its
unique beaches (Pahia Ammos, Volakas, Krios,
etc.). Furthermore, it can be the ideal base
from which to tour neighboring towns and places,
like Sougia, Agia Roumeli, Sfakia, Gavdos,
Elafonisi, etc.
